A commissioner in Ramsey wants to see matters raised by the public discussed openly at each meeting of the local authority.
Juan McGuinness will put forward a proposal later this month to allow ratepayers in the town to have their questions answered by the board.
He says it’s important there’s a mechanism for the public to raise issues which might not appear on the Commission’s agenda.
Other local authorities such as Braddan put aside time in meetings to allow those in the gallery to ask questions.
