A UK coroner has ruled the death of a promising footballer from the Isle of Man was drug related.
26-year-old Louis Thornton died in a hotel room in Liverpool on September 17th last year during a weekend break.
Liverpool and Wirral Coroner's Court heard the sportsman - who was the first team captain for Corinthians FC - had suffered a heart attack.
The Middlesbrough fan had also suffered heart problems - including coronary artery thrombosis and arthrosclerosis - which were linked to his cocaine use.
