Consultation Excercise Begins on Crucial Children Bill
The Department of Education yesterday launched a consultation excercise over legislation that will strengthen support and protection for the Island's children and young people, particulary those who are vulnerable.
The Children Bill is the culmination of much hard work all geared toward improving children's services following an independent Commission of Inquiry.
A new Children's Commissioner will be introduced with the task of promoting and safeguarding the rights of children.
