A construction worker who was summarily dismissed after sending abusive messages to his boss has won an employment tribunal.
Daniel Seed claimed AAA Construction had unfairly dismissed him via a Whatsapp message last March following an angry exchange with his boss.
He told the tribunal he thought he'd been sacked months earlier after accusations he'd used cannabis at work and was finishing early every day to go to the pub.
The tribunal found while he had been unfairly dismissed, he was 75 per cent to blame and so awarded him a total of £952.75.
