The importance of actively listening to children and young people was highlighted at a major conference on the Island last week.
The event saw over 400 professionals and practitioners discuss the importance of listening to children, particularly with regards to recognising signs of neglect and abuse.
In preparation for the conference young people were invited to have their say on what the professionals could do to support them.
Home Affairs Minister Juan Watterson says it was an important event as it highlighted what the Protecting Children Board does on a daily basis.
