The Island's Fire Service and DEFA have increasing concerns about the risk of wildfires.
Firefighters say the recent good weather means vegetation is dry and, as a result, there is a bigger threat of blazes breaking out in uplands, woodlands and glens.
Officials are, therefore, reiterating the warning not to light barbecues or bonfires as any wildfire incidents would put more strain on the emergency services.
Residents are being told to only visit the countryside for permitted daily exercise and that no-one should be creating campfires or stoves outside their own gardens.
