Wind farm developer Celtic Array says it is paying close attention to the concerns of government regarding the impact new proposals have on shipping lanes.
It was revealed earlier this month that Celtic Array has deferred its proposals to develop a wind farm in the north east of the Irish Sea.As it stands the development of the project would impede on the Steam Packet’s shipping lanes to both Heysham and Liverpool.
A spokesperson for the company says it will now investigate options to remove, or at least minimise the impact on shipping.
Celtic says it is still fully committed to progressing the scheme in a way that pleases all parties.
