Manx Utilities is inviting companies to tender for the Garff Regional Sewage Treatment Scheme.
It would involve the construction of a wastewater treatment works at Axnfell, and pumping stations.
The utilities company's scheme aims to stop untreated sewage being pumped into Laxey Bay.
A planning application for the project is currently under consideration.
