A man who smashed up his partner's flat in Laxey has been ordered to do community service.
31 year old Craig James Scholes of Cronk y Berry admitted damaging property and breaching his bail conditions when he appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes this week.
The court heard he'd smashed a laptop and TV while drunk on February 9 - and then contacted the woman by text message after being told not to by the court.
Mrs Hughes ordered him to do 80 hours of community service, pay £125 costs and £698 compensation for the damage.
