A benefits fraudster has been sentenced to 120 hours' community service.
29 year old Katie Marie Astick of Shore Road in Kirk Michael appeared at Douglas Courthouse.
The tattoo artist admitted two counts of benefits fraud - falsely declaring she was liable for rental payments for a property in St John's - which resulted in her being overpaid £7,081.
Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood heard Astick is paying back the money at £40 a week.
