The raft in Laxey Bay is expected to be replaced after suffering 'extensive damage' over the weekend.
Garff Commissioners says the board will likely discuss the possibility of replacement at their next meeting on September 6.
An option would be building a new raft the same as the last one, as it's proved 'durable and cost-effective to run.'
Commissioners say the raft has been a very popular feature on Laxey Beach for many years.
