A local authority member has declared they'll stand for Glenfaba and Peel in the general election.
Katryna Baptist currently sits on the board of Peel Commissioners.
Ms Baptist says she wants to see government preserve the Island and its unique place in history, and act in the best interests of residents.
The general election will be held on Thursday, September 24.
