Commissioner chairman praises proposal to save Post Office

A sound, sustainable business proposal that meets the needs of the people of the north of the Isle of Man.

That's how the chairman of the Ramsey Town Commissioners has described the plan to save the Crown Post Office.

The proposal which was formulated by a consortium of local professionals has been handed over to the post office board, with a final decision expected this month.

Chairman Nigel Malpass says whatever the outcome he is incredibly proud of those involved in the effort:
