A hard hitting report has accused government ministers of playing 'fast and loose' with financial regulations.
It relates to a study carried out by the Public Accounts Committee into the expenditure on consultancy for a review of social security.
The report alleges that CoMIN commissioned phase 11 of the review with ‘indecent haste’ leaving civil servants to pick up the pieces.
