As the weather gets warmer there’s been an influx of reported cases of reckless behaviour around the Island’s coast and harbours.

There are numerous potentials for injury that come with these activities, especially when carried out unsupervised by an expert.
Sector Manager for the South Isle of Man Coastguard's Phillip Adams told 3FM that the sea is still at very cold temperatures, and there have been cases of people suffering from cold-water shock – which can result in drowning.
Harbour swimming comes with the risk of collision with vessels and is strongly warned against.
If anyone witnesses any of these acts they’re urged to report it immediately to the local Coastguards.
