Coastguards were part of a multi-agency operation to locate a missing person last night.
Ramsey teams were called at 9.30pm to help the search for the person in the Maughold area.
After deploying three units, the casualty was found and given first aid before other emergency services arrived with support.
On social media the crews praised the teamwork of all the organisations involved in the search.
