Douglas Coastguards were called out to assist a man who had fallen into Douglas Marina last night.
Emergency services were called at around 9.45pm and say the man had fallen while boarding his yacht and became stuck.
Two crew members climbed into the water to help comfort the man and keep him afloat.
The man was lifted out using a stretcher and was then transferred to Nobles Hospital.
