A veteran Isle of Man coastguard - whose family has nearly 100 years of combined service in the profession - has been honoured for 20 years with the organisation.
Mark Leadley, Deputy Station Officer for Peel Coastguard Rescue Team, was honoured with a Long Service and Good Conduct medal at a ceremony at their Peel base.
The event was attended by Infrastructure Minister, Ray Harmer, and member with responsibility for ports, Tim Baker.
Mr Leadley joined the Peel team in 1998 and became Section Leader 10 years later - before taking on his current post five years after that.
