The Chief Minister has had 'positive discussions' with the Lord Chancellor and Justice Minister in London.
Alfred Cannan MHK met with Alex Chalk MP and Mike Freer MP, joined by Deputy Lyndon Trott from Guernsey and Senator Ian Gorst from Jersey.
Mr Cannan also met with Dame Margaret Hodge MP, to discuss her concern around beneficial ownership registers and to reiterate the Island's agreed position to remain aligned with current international standards.
He also met with Labour Shadow Minister for Foreign & Commonwealth, Development Affairs Steven Doughty MP to discuss Labour's priorities in terms of trade agreements, energy policy and beneficial ownership.
