The Western Civic Amenity Site says it's cooperating with authorities after a criminal case against a former employee.
On Facebook today, the board issued a statement after former manager Michael Rose pleaded guilty to fraud at the site.
It says it reported the matter to police last March after staff discovered financial irregularities.
And it adds significant changes have since been introduced, with better procedures, increased controls and heightened oversight.
