Emergency Services were called out to a boiler fire on Christmas day.
At 1.45pm crews received reports of the blaze at a property on West Hill Avenue in Castletown.
It turned out to be a fault with the boiler, which was producing excessive smoke from the pipe.
Crews then checked over the boiler to make sure it was safe.
