The Island's first ever 'Christmas City Lights' takes place tonight.
Snow, Santa, shopping and seasonal cheer will see thousands flock to Douglas - which was granted City status earlier this year.
The event - organised by Douglas Town Centre Management and Douglas Borough Council will see the likes of an outdoor cinema, craft fair, live music, children's rides and an ice sculpture.
Douglas Mayor, Janet Thommeny will wish everyone a 'Merry Christmas' before the lights are officially switched-on at 7pm.
Father Christmas will also be in his Grotto from 5.30pm-8.30pm in The Strand Shopping Centre.
