Chief Minister Shuts Up Shop After 28 Years
Chief Minister Tony Brown has been speaking to 3FM about the decision to close his Electrical Shop in Castletown.
He’d owned the shop for coming on thirty years and as he told 3FM it was a difficult decision to shut up shop, but one that was influenced by a number of factors.
He said he decided against renewing the lease as it would have tied him to the business till his mid sixties.
He said also by closing the shop it would allow him to concentrate all of his efforts on his work in the Government.
