The Chief Minister has signed an intergovernmental agreement with the United States.
Allan Bell countersigned the document at the US Embassy in London yesterday, and says the agreement will improve international tax compliance.
Marked by the implementation of FATCA it follows an agreement between the Isle of Man and the UK which was signed earlier this year.
