Chief Minister Alf Cannan says he hopes two ministers will announce plans to help the hospitality industry soon.
In Tynwald this week, he faced questions about what was being done to help the beleaguered industry as it suffers high costs, staff shortages and waning trade.
Mr Cannan said the Island's treasury and enterprise ministers had met industry representatives and would reveal new government measures in the near future.
But he said he couldn't just consider one sector of the economy:
