Chief Minister Howard Quayle says the Island's relationship with the EU depends on the UK.
In Tynwald yesterday Mr Quayle was asked by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse about Brexit negotiations with Ireland and Northern Ireland.
In response, Mr Quayle said the Isle of Man, Ireland and Northern Ireland are not part of the formal Brexit discussions.
However, he also said the Island's relationship with the EU will become clear when the UK leaves, and the impact it may have for Manx people.
