The Island's Chief Minister has called for a referendum on the Assisted Dying Bill.
During a sitting of the House of Keys on Wednesday, which was extended from Tuesday's, Alf Cannan MHK made a speech to members calling for the public to give their views on the Bill's clauses.
Dr Alex Allinson MHK proposes within the Bill that assisted dying should be a choice for terminally ill or mentally competent people here.
Another sitting is due to take place on Monday at 10 am when ministers will continue the discussion on the Bill's clauses.
