Police officers will be recognised for their dedication and outstanding performances today.
The Chief Constable's Annual Awards Ceremony will take place at the Villa Marina honouring officers, special constables, support staff, community volunteers and the public.
A number of officers will receive commendations for their efforts in saving the lives of people on the Isle of Man.
Chief Constable Gary Roberts says in some quarters it has become fashionable to "devalue or denigrate" public servants.
However he says his staff regularly go the "extra mile" and it's important their efforts are highlighted and rewarded.
