The emergency services have turned out in force at the Mount Murray in Santon following an earlier chemical leak.
There was an issue with the routine mix of chemicals for the gym's swimming pool.
It led to an evacuation of those using the facilities and three people were taken to hospital as a precaution.
There have been no serious injuries as a result and the hotel remains open.
