A local charity has saved a bird that was stuck in the flue of a log burner.
The Manx Wild Bird Aid says it saves 'at least one starling trapped in a chimney each year.'
Volunteers took an hour to save the bird, who was injury free and 'surprisingly clean.'
He was released straight away, with the charity describing him as 'one lucky little bird.'
