A local charity is reminding the public of the shark code of conduct.
The Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch has re-shared the information following recent concerns about boat interaction with basking sharks.
It's asked that you slow down and don't approach sharks closer than 100m, and switch off your engine if you find yourself getting closer.
Failure to follow the code is punishable under the Wildlife Crime Act 1990 - you can find the full document here.
