A charity founder has announced she's standing in the general election.
Helen Sheppard, who set up bereavement charity A Little Piece of Hope, is contesting a seat in Rushen.
Among her focuses will be supporting families, carers and young people, and improving mental health services.
The general election is due to take place on Thursday, September 24.
