A new children's adventure playground could be coming to Douglas early next year.
Douglas Borough Council announced a section of Ballaughton Nurseries has been handed to Island charity Isle of Play to create a new facility there.
Mayor of Douglas, Jon Joughin, and members of the Douglas Council and Parks Department met with the organisation and year six students from Anagh Coar Primary School to officially hand over the keys to Lester's Yard.
Isle of Play looks to promote and provide activities to allow children to get out and enjoy the outdoors.
