The Chair of Peel Commissioners says if the town’s sewage treatment plant is given planning approval it’ll ‘work wonders’ for people in the west.
The application has been submitted by Manx Utilities and is planned to be on three fields next to the power station with access from Glenfaba Road.
£40 million has been allocated by government towards the development of regional sewage treatment works for Garff and Peel, with the money being split between them.
