Cav using 'tough Suisse race' as Tour De France warm up

Mark Cavendish spoke to 3FM from Switzerland where he is taking part in the Tour De Suisse.

It's a year since the Manx Missile was penalised and fined for causing a crash near the finish of the fourth stage of the Tour.

Heinrich Haussler and Cav were head to head in a sprint finnish when they fell at over 40mph in front of the charging peloton behind.

With the Tour De France starting in less than three weeks and high hopes for the 26 year old to take the Green jersey, the HTC Highroad rider says this event is great preparation for him. (audio above)
