Police have confirmed a bus has been involved in a serious crash near Fisher's Hill.
The bus is believed to be the number 2, which was in a collision with another vehicle at around 3.30pm.
There's been a full turnout of the emergency services.
Noble's Hospital is asking people to stay away unless it's absolutely necessary.
All casualties have been removed from the crash scene and taken to hospital. Injuries range from serious to the walking wounded.
People who are worried about relatives who may have been on the bus are asked to call 697315.
Police have closed the road from the Castletown Bypass through to Shore
Rd and its junction with Kentraugh indefinitely. This includes Quine's
Road through to its junction with New Road.
