Cardiology appointments will be reinstated as planned from next Monday.
That's the assurance from Manx Care following concern from patients after the service was cancelled this week.
The doctor who would normally take the clinics wasn't available this week, forcing the cancellations, this will be rectified by Monday.
The reinstated clinics will be covered by Manx Care's existing team of consultants who will be stepping in to help address the high demand placed upon the service at present.
They have apologised for the inconvenience and concern this may have caused to their patients and their families.
