Douglas will officially get a new mayor this afternoon.
The city's local authority - the largest on the Island - will meet at City Hall on Ridgeway Street later.
The annual meeting will see a new mayor elected and invested, and a deputy mayor appointed.
The meeting, which is open to the public, is due to get underway at 3pm.
