There needs to be capacity and infrastructure for sewage treatment before further significant development in Peel.
That's according to MHK for the area Kate Lord-Brennan, following news the sewage treatment works for Peel and Laxey is now delayed to 2026.
She believes no more large scale housing developments should be supported until sewage treatment is in place.
Ms Lord-Brennan adds that the lack of infrastructure should be kept in mind when planning applications are evaluated.
