Cannan congratulates Jersey's first female Chief Minister

A fellow Crown Dependency has appointed its first female Chief Minister.

Kristina Moore is Jersey's new leader and will officially take up the position on July 11.

The Isle of Man's Chief Minister Alfred Cannan tweeted his congratulations on her 'notable election.'

He adds he looks forward to meeting and continuing to build on the 'close relationship between our Island nations'.
