A man who tried to have more than £400 worth of cannabis posted to him was caught out by a police sniffer dog.
Kevin James Crellin of Ponyfields in Port Erin admitted producing the class B drug as well as possessing cannabis and diazepam when he appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes this week.
The court heard the 29 year old was arrested after officers opened a suspicious package at a post sorting office.
Crellin was sentenced to a total of 16 weeks in jail suspended for two years, and ordered to pay £125 costs.
