A Douglas man will stand trial after denying swallowing cannabis in a bid to evade police.
25-year- old Luke Anthony Ridgway, of Peel Road, appeared at Douglas Courthouse this week.
He entered a not guilty plea to a charge of obstructing a drugs search at the Villa Marina on June 5.
A pre-trial review will take place on August 24 - he's been bailed until then.
