Unattended candles caused a small fire at the Hospice yesterday.
Firefighters were called to the chapel area of the building in Strang just before 7pm.
The tealight candles had melted and caused a small fire to start which in turn had caused smoke logging.
The fire was extinguished using hand extinguishers and the area made safe within an hour.
