The Department of Infrastructure says a bus route that had only 929 passengers on it last year ran for less than a month.
A Freedom of Information request earlier this year asked for details about the 28 service to the Sound, which was scrapped because of a lack of passengers.
In its response, the DOI said it had less than a thousand passengers - but didn't say it only ran for 24 days.
The number was released in response to a Tynwald question from Rushen MHK Juan Watterson as campaigners battle to have the service restored to Cregneash and the Sound.
