Call for more Manx politics in schools

A Member of the Legislative Council says more schools need to teach Manx politics and history. 

MLC Kerry Sharpe wants young people to be informed about politics on the Island, as she believes most people don't know the difference between parliament and government. 

A new scheme of learning for Year 10 students has been finalised, with Manx politics already being covered in primary and secondary schools. 

There is a specific course available online about the importance of registering to vote for school age voters.
