The Cabinet Office says it's not aware of any Isle of Man residents claiming political asylum to escape government corruption.
A Freedom of Information request asked how many people living here had political asylum claims or self-imposed exile status against the Island's government.
The Cabinet Office says the request could be vexatious because the person who made it included unfounded accusations despite repeated warnings, and also submitted numerous requests for the same information.
It also added no Isle of Man resident could make an asylum claim on the Island.
