Bus Vannin says it might not be able to keep services running this evening, on the first day of the strike.
It's because the organisation is running out of drivers, the majority of which walked out from today, Saturday, February 21 - in the start of ten days of industrial action over pay and conditions.
A contingency bus timetable is currently in operation, with limited services.
In an update on Facebook, Bus Vannin explained not enough staff were coming forward to help cover striking drivers, and those who are will hit their legal limit of driving hours by the evening.
The organisation says it's strongly advising customers make alternative travel arrangements for today, adding the cover team will be back to deliver what services they can on Sunday.
