A serial burglar will be sentenced next month after striking twice in four days.
44-year-old Lee Cowell, who is currently remanded at the Isle of Man Prison, appeared at Douglas Courthouse on Tuesday.
He admitted breaking into a flat on Lheannag Park in Douglas on October 10th with the intention to steal.
The court heard the occupant of the property heard knocking at his front door after returning home from work at 4.45pm.
After ignoring the caller the man entered his living room where he found Cowell bent down near the TV - Cowell tried to flee and the man punched him in the face.
Cowell was later picked up by police in connection with another burglary on James Street that had happened on October 6th.
He'll be sentenced for both offences at the Court of General Gaol Delivery and will next appear there on December 7th - there was no application for bail.
