A builder is facing trial over an alleged £365,000 fraud.
40 year old Ian Piercy, of Royal Avenue in Onchan, pleaded not guilty to three counts of fraud by false representation.
He's accused of falsely claiming work by his company Nicholas Brian Design Limited was covered by a National House Building Council warranty.
The court heard the person who asked for the work wouldn't have given the go-ahead if they'd known the warranty wasn't in place.
Mr Piercy was bailed until his next appearance on August 6.
