A local businessman has declared he'll stand in the general election for Ayre and Michael.
Stephen Broad says he's worried about the over-expansion of government and its bureaucracy.
Mr Broad, who runs his own road haulage firm, also wants to focus on more community policing and laws to control the Island's population.
